2 10 home warranty coverage limits

You turned down both offers and said you would stick with waiting for the appointment in order to not suffer any further delays. I am concerned to hear that we made you feel as though it was "your fault" that this request was not going quickly. If you could reply to this with a private message elaborating more on how we made you feel that way, we would greatly appreciate it. In any case, our offers are still available if you would like to try out obtaining faster service for your AC. Thank you. We just bought a home in Nashville and the sellers purchased a home warranty through 2 10. Our AC just went out and after spending over 2 hours on the phone with them there is no repair in sight. It is over 90 degrees in Nashville and our house reaches 85 degrees inside. We have pets and an elderly and this is a health and safety issue. I explained this to a "manager" who explained it will take 3 5 business days for the "back office" to review this. It will also take a few days/weeks for the part to be delivered and then "some time" once the part is delivered for the AC tech to fit it in their schedule for repair.

I got some good advice for sellers of homes: put up a $1500 escrow fund for the buyer when you sell a home the typical maximum amount for home warranty companied with appropriate terms and conditions for use of the funds for 6 months to 1 year after sale. Of course, fully disclose any work or replacement that needs to be done when you sell the house. That's a better deal all the way around than a home warranty company. I use PSEandG Worry Free Service. only for big ticket items. Furnace/Air, Fridge, and leave the rest uninsured.

Home warranties exist to repair or replace old worn out systems that have been properly cared for by the homeowner. Buyers should read the home warranty contract carefully to understand coverages, limitations, and exclusions. Most home warranty contracts will state that repairs and replacements will not be covered if the problem was known prior to the date of coverage. This is sometimes referred to as a known condition. Most often, homeowners run into this problem when purchasing a home. After getting a home inspection, some real estate agents will mistakenly tell the buyer that any problems found in the home inspection will be covered with a home warranty.
